Network Homes signs agreement with Quintain on new affordable homes
02 February 2017
Network Homes has signed an agreement with Quintain to deliver 31 new affordable homes in the latest phase of Quintain’s Wembley Park regeneration scheme. The Vivo apartment block, located within the Alto development, is due to be completed in May this year and residents will enjoy access to a communal garden. It is a short walk to both Wembley Park underground station, Wembley Stadium and London Designer Outlet (LDO).
The new homes will consist of one, two and three bedroom apartments, 18 of which will be for affordable rent and 13 for shared ownership. The development will also consist of apartments for private sale and rent.
Quintain is the team behind the regeneration of Wembley Park, an 85 acre site in north west London, which will deliver up to one million square feet of Grade A office space and 7,000 new homes to contribute significantly to the housing demands in the area.
Vicky Savage, Executive Director for Development at Network Homes, said: “We enjoy an excellent relationship with Quintain built up over many years of close working. They are a top flight developer and we are delighted to once again be their S106 partner. The new homes will add to the continuing regeneration of the area, an area where our existing and indeed future HQ will be located. We are proud to be delivering over 30 beautiful affordable homes for local people and hope to work with our partners at Quintain more in the future.”
Jeremy Sharland, Development Director for Quintain, said: “I am delighted to be concluding this second residential sale to Network Homes following the recent handover of 22 affordable homes in the neighbouring Emerald Gardens development. This builds on our successful partnership with Network Homes at Wembley Park where Quintain will also be delivering a new office building in 2019 to house Network’s new head office.”
