Do something for your community. Become a Community Ambassador!
11 September 2020
Do you want to get to know your neighbours? Do you want to be the voice of your community and create change? If you’re proud of your community and have some ideas to make it better, then the Community Ambassador role could be for you. We’re currently looking for residents to take that step and get involved by becoming a Community Ambassador. So why wait? Find out more and apply today.
As a community Ambassador, you’ll be our key contact in the community – spotting any problems and suggesting ways to improve your neighbourhood. You’ll have the opportunity to join us on estate inspections, helping to pick out any physical improvements that need to be made. You’ll also work with your neighbours to develop projects and activities that benefit the people living in your neighbourhood. You might work as part of a team of ambassadors where you live. And you can represent a block of flats, a street or even a whole estate – it’s up to you.
As a Community Ambassador, you will:
- Receive specialist training to carry out the role
- Meet fellow Community Ambassadors to exchange insights and ideas
- Be the voice of your community and our key contact
- Help to build a greater sense of community in your neighbourhood
- Spot any problems and suggest ways to improve your area
How do I become a Community Ambassador?
