Apply for the Kickstart Scheme
17 August 2021
Are you a young resident in London or Hertfordshire looking for work? Why not Kickstart your career at Network Homes!
We've joined Brent Council to be part of the Kickstart Scheme which provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24-year olds on Universal Credit at risk of long-term unemployment. The Government has pointed out that young people are more likely to have been furloughed, with many working in sectors disproportionately hit by the pandemic. The Kickstart jobs are designed to build their skills in the workplace and are meant to help them gain experience to improve their chances of finding long-term work.
As part of the programme, the young person will complete up to six months' paid work placement with us (25 hours a week) in the following teams:
- Construction and Regeneration
- Customer Service
- Facilities
Apply for Kickstart
If you are aged between 16 to 24, are currently not in employment and receive Universal Credit, you can apply for the programme.
