Network Homes hosts Community Ambassador Crafternoon
15 July 2021
In May, the Network Homes Resident Engagement Team organised a virtual Crafternoon. This was hosted by Community Ambassador Maria and we invited other Ambassadors across Network to join us. Maria (who is incredibly talented in arts and crafts!) kindly packed crafty kits with all the materials needed which we then delivered to the attendees at their home. She patiently guided us through, step-by-step, the process to make paper dahlias.
Community Ambassadors are residents who work in partnership with Network and represent their community, raise concerns and suggest areas of improvement. They also work with their community to develop local projects and activities.
Getting Community Ambassadors together in a shared ‘e-space' is an excellent way for them to get to know one another. It also provides them with an opportunity to share experiences and exchange ideas. We were also joined by Executive Director of Governance, Technology and Transformation Tabitha Kassem, who got her children involved in the crafty process.
