Geeta Nanda takes over from Helen Evans as Chair of the G15

07 June 2021

Geeta Nanda, Chief Executive of Metropolitan Thames Valley, today (7 June) takes over as Chair of the G15 from Helen Evans, Chief Executive of Network Homes.

Richard Hill, Chief Executive of One Housing, has taken over from Geeta as G15 Vice Chair.

The G15 is the group of London's largest housing associations with Helen beginning her two-year stint as chair in 2019.

Helen Evans

It’s been a real privilege to be Chair of the G15 and I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved together since 2019. Without doubt it's been an unprecedented and challenging period, particularly over the past year with the Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst this has thrown up a challenge that none of us were prepared for, our housing professionals across the G15 have been outstanding through their resilience and determination to continue to provide essential services for residents. I wish Geeta as Chair, and Richard as Vice Chair, every success in the coming two years.

Helen Evans, Chief Executive of Network Homes

Geeta commented: “On behalf of all members, I want to thank Helen for all she has done over the last two years as Chair. Her leadership throughout the pandemic was critical in allowing members to share insight and respond quickly to support our residents. Our role in the response to the pandemic over the last year has also shown that our connections with communities run deep and extend across partnerships. We want to see a stronger and fairer London emerge from the pandemic, and we are committed to playing our part in achieving this ambition alongside our partners.”
