Network Homes to deliver 21 affordable homes in Acton
24 February 2021
Network Homes has exchanged contracts to deliver 21 affordable homes in Acton, West London.
The new apartments in Gunnersbury Lane will consist of one, two and three-bedroom homes delivered as part of section 106 agreement with developer Countryside. Twelve apartments will be London Affordable Rent and the other nine for London Living Rent, a scheme which helps residents save for a deposit to buy their own home. New residents will be expected to move in 2023.
The site is located next to the new 1200 pupil Ark Soane secondary school, which is due to open in September 2021. It's also close to excellent transport links with Acton Town tube station providing quick access to Central London.
The Acton development marks another investment for Network Homes in the borough of Ealing following the announcement of 149 new homes in Dabbs Hill, Northolt in December 2020 and the completion of a £100 million regeneration scheme at Rectory Park in August 2020.
