Exciting site roles for Hillingdon residents- apply now!

We’re committed to making sure that local people benefit from the development and regeneration work we do. We work with our contractors and local authorities to create job opportunities for those living in the communities we work in.

As part of this work, we’ve got four exciting paid employment and training roles available on one of our Hillingdon sites through our partnership with ARJ Construction. We're working with ARJ to build 134 homes and 1 commercial spaces. Of the 134 homes we're building, 58 will be for Shared Ownership, 57 for for London Affordable Rent and 19 for London Living Rent, a GLA scheme that supports residents in saving for a deposit to buy their own home.

As part of our partnership with a ARJ Construction, we will being offering 1,160 employment and training weeks on the Old Vinyl Factory site in Hayes. This will involve 435 training weeks to be offered exclusively to Hillingdon residents and 725 employment weeks. We are currently looking for a trainee steel fixer, a trainee formwork carpenter, an apprentice civil engineering technician and a gate person. Trainee steel fixer

The primary role of a steel fixer is to assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures.
