Free baby massage class for parents in Sele Farm
09 June 2022
The pandemic has affected us all in one way or another. But for first time parents, it has been particularly lonely. We want to give something back to the community and help families with young babies access extra support they may not have had during the pandemic.
Our Mental Health Liaison Officer Tanya-Marie Baser will be offering a free baby massage class for the Sele Farm Community throughout June and July.
Baby massage is an ancient art of nurturing, which encourages loving communication between you and your baby. It allows you to enhance your bond and connection with your baby through the power of skin-to-skin contact. There are so many benefits of baby massage including promoting relaxation and sleep, stimulation and development of the senses, helping to reach key milestones, developing the nervous system, boosting circulation and digestion.
Everything will be supplied in class, all that is needed is you, your baby and a towel.
Who are they for?
Classes are for babies who are any age from 8 weeks old to crawling age and suitable for one parent and one baby. You don’t have to be a Network Homes resident to register!
