Network Homes and Hill mark key milestone in construction of 156 affordable homes in Wembley Park
22 September 2022
We celebrated the topping out of a development of 156 affordable apartments in Wembley Park at a special event on Tuesday 20 September. A ceremony was held on the roof terrace of one of the new buildings with attendees including key stakeholders from Network Homes and housebuilder The Hill Group.
The new homes are located next to Wembley Stadium National Rail station and include a mix of one- two- and three-bedroom apartments across three separate blocks of 17, seven and six storeys. All apartments are for affordable tenures including 75 for Shared Ownership (marketed as Arc), 65 for Affordable Rent, 15 for London Living Rent, a Mayor of London scheme which allows you to rent for below market rates to save for a deposit to buy shares in your home, and one apartment for London Affordable Rent.
The project forms a key part of Wembley Park’s ongoing regeneration and will feature a range of impressive amenities including landscaped green spaces.
The three apartment buildings are now truly taking shape and will make a major contribution to affordable housing provision in the local area once completed. We are grateful to The Hill Group for their high-quality delivery and commitment to collaborative working which has brought us to this point. The topping out of the development is an opportunity to reflect on the excellent progress we have made on the project to date and to look ahead to a successful completion in due course.
