Network Homes publishes new Design Guide for developments

We’re pleased to unveil our new Design Guide which sets out the required design and technical standards in our new developments and promotes excellence in design quality and sustainability.
We believe ‘good homes make everything possible’ and to achieve this we want to build attractive high-quality homes and neighbourhoods. The Design Guide is intended primarily for our project teams made up of architects, engineers and employer’s agents who will be commissioned by our Development Teams.
In putting together the guide we ran a series of consultations with residents and employees across Network Homes to determine what they considered should be our priorities in the design of new housing.
We have produced this guide to focus on the role that design can play in raising standards and improving quality of life. It defines and explains core principles which we believe are fundamental to our primary aim and must apply to all our projects. It sets an aspirational and practical benchmark for residents, for Network Homes and for those with whom we work to build homes with high standards of design quality
