WATCH: David's Vlog from March 2022 Board meeting

On Tuesday 29 March, our Board held their latest meeting where they discussed a range of topics from a packed agenda. It was presided over by our new Interim Chair Jon Gooding who has taken over from Bernadette Conroy who has stood down to become Chair of the Regulator of Social Housing.
David Gooch, Executive Director of Development captures the key points from the meeting which he shares with us in his latest vlog. These include:
- Financial matters - The 2022-23 budget was approved and there was update on Network Homes’ Business plan which has been approved with our biggest ever allocation for sustainability measures.
- Cost of Living - The Board’s consideration on the cost-of-living situation for staff agreeing to the 3.1% pay increase for staff. The Board also discussed how to support residents during the current cost of living situation.
- Performance - The current challenges on the repairs service in regard to price inflation along with material and contractor shortages
- New developments and Building Safety - An update on our biggest development schemes along with the progress of our building safety remediation programme.
