Tell us how you feel about our proposed merger with Sovereign

01 June 2023

On 13 March 2023, we announced plans to merge with Sovereign. The target date for the completion of the merger is October 2023. The vision for the new organisation, which will be known as Sovereign Network, is to provide current and future residents with more, better quality homes in thriving communities and offer sector-leading services.

We want to hear your thoughts about the proposed merger and to understand what’s important to you throughout this transition. There are a variety of ways you can share your views with us which we’ve outlined below. You are not limited to letting us know using just one of these options available, you’re welcome to tell us what you think using as many of the options below as you would like to. For example, by coming to an event as well as completing the survey.

Book a one-on-one conversation with us

We’re aware the locations and times of our summer events and Big Conversation drop-in day may not work for everyone, so we’re also offering one to one conversations with us to talk about the merger. These ‘Little Conversations’ are another opportunity for you to tell us what you think about the proposed merger and share what community matters are most important to you. You can have a Little Conversation with us in one of three ways:

  • in person conversation – a chat on your doorstep on Tuesday 25 July 2023
  • request a video call – via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 25 July 2023
  • request a phone call – speak to a Network Homes staff member about the proposed merger on Tuesday 25 July 2023.

Please click here or the button below to request your appointment by Friday 30 June 2023. We’ll contact you to confirm details of your Little Conversation in July to give you a smaller timeframe of when to expect a visit or call from one of our team members.

How we’ll use your feedback

All feedback shared throughout the summer will be presented to our Board to consider when they make their final decision on whether to merge in September 2023. If the decision is that the merger will go ahead, your views will also help us plan how to focus the ways we invest £100m into a community foundation over the next ten years.

We value resident feedback and want to ensure we keep residents involved throughout this potential merger journey. For further merger queries, please contact our Resident Engagement team by emailing get.involved@networkhomes.org.uk.
