WATCH: David's Vlog from May 2023 Board meeting

We held our latest Board meeting on Tuesday 30 May, where our Board discussed a range of topics from a packed agenda. David Gooch, Executive Director of Development, captures the key points from the meeting which he shares with us in his latest vlog.
The key topics they discussed include:
- Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund - we have successfully bid for funding to improve homes with a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPG) of D or less. We have matched the funding we've been given and will invest this into delivering a programme of work over the next 18 months which brings 2,043 homes up to an EPC rating of at least C.
- New corporate strategy - approved new Network Homes strategy for 2023-2028.
- Proposed merger with Sovereign - updates on the due diligence process and integration work happening between the two organisations.
- Charitable fund -updates on how our charitable fund has been used to support residents experiencing financial hardship.
