We achieve five stars for health and safety from British Safety Council
28 April 2023
We’ve achieved five stars for best practice following an audit into occupational health and safety by the British Safety Council.
The top marks followed a robust evaluation of our policies, processes, and practices. The audit process included a documentation review, interviews with senior management, colleagues, and other key stakeholders, together with sampling of operational activities. It measured performance against key health and safety management best practice indicators and a detailed review of almost 60 component elements.
We’re really chuffed to have received five stars which I think shows our commitment to towards the continual improvement of our health and safety management systems and associated arrangements.
Health and Safety Manager at Network Homes
Mike Robinson, CEO at the British Safety Council, said: “The award of a five star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement and is reflective of a proactive organisation which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and wellbeing.
“Network Homes should be very proud of this achievement.”
