Are you looking for a career in construction? We have the perfect opportunity to get you started on site!

We’re committed to building as many affordable homes as we can and making sure that local people benefit from the development and regeneration work we do. We work with our contractors and the relevant local authorities to provide local people with opportunities to improve their construction skills and enhance their future employment prospects. To start work in the construction industry, it’s crucial that you have a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. That’s why we’re pleased to share that we’ll be running a free course at our Wembley office to help local people obtain their CSCS card. 

If you’re looking to enter the construction industry and gain access to various job opportunities on construction sites, this one-day Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness Course is perfect for you! 

Course details 

Date: October 2024 (exact dates to be confirmed) 

Location: The Hive, 22 Wembley Park Blvd, Wembley, London 

Cost: Free, this course is fully funded by SNG 

**While the course is open to all, preference will be given to SNG customers.** 

This essential training is your gateway to working on construction sites. Once you successfully complete the course, we'll book you in for your CSCS test within three weeks. Once you pass that test, we'll pay for your CSCS card, allowing you to work on construction sites across the UK. 

The course provides a comprehensive introduction to health and safety practices in construction, setting you up for success in the field. You'll gain valuable knowledge and certification that is crucial for your safety and the safety of others on site. 

After completing the course and obtaining your CSCS card, you'll have opportunities to be considered for: 

• Work experience on construction sites 

• Apprenticeships 

• Job opportunities
