Kickstart your career in construction at our February apprenticeship event

15 January 2024

We’re committed to supporting local residents, construction students, and aspiring students into employment with our contractors and on our development sites. To kickstart budding careers in construction, we’re hosting an apprenticeship event on Tuesday 6 February 2024 from 12pm to 2.30pm at our office in Wembley. This event, taking place during National Apprenticeship Week, will connect job seekers with construction companies offering apprenticeships, jobs, and work experience placements.

Event details

When? Tuesday 6 February 2024, 12pm to 2.30pm
Where? The Hive, 22 Wembley Park Blvd, Wembley, HA9 0HP

You'll get to speak directly with our contractors about current and upcoming opportunities they have available. Several leading contractors will be attending, including gas and electrical contractors Oakray and construction companies ARJ Construction, Countryside, Vistry South London and more. There will also be a prize draw for a chance to win one of five £20 gift voucher and free pizza so you can network over lunch and refreshments.

This event is open to residents, construction college students, and anyone aged 17 and over interested in starting or advancing a career in construction trades such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, architecture, engineering, and more. If you’re looking to enter or grow within the construction industry, this event is perfect for you!

It’s important to us that we give local residents, students and aspiring tradespeople the best opportunities to access jobs, apprenticeships, and training on our construction sites. For anyone interested in a construction apprenticeship or career, this is a valuable chance to network and explore employment openings suited to your skills and interests. Sign up and come along to meet companies ready to invest in the community’s next generation of skilled construction talent, who can turn your career aspirations into reality!
