Supporting you to get digitally connected

05 March 2024

Having access to digital devices, like laptops and mobile phones, and the internet is becoming more and more essential in our everyday lives. That’s why we have a range of free services, offers and support that can help you become digitally confident to use and access services online.

Barclays Digital Wings

We’ve partnered with Barclays to improve digital confidence and skills for all SNG customers. Digital Wings offers free online training, that you can complete at your own pace. And you don't need to be a Barclays customer to use Digital Wings!

How do I get started?

You can register for a digital wings account and access the courses through this link: Register | Barclays Digital Wings (uk.barclays)

You will need an email address to register and your unique code to register your account is: SNG

To log back in once you've registered, visit Log in | Barclays Digital Wings (uk.barclays) or search Digital Wings on your app store and download the app to use on the go.

We are Digital

This is a digital training programme for customers who have little to no experience online. It covers the basics of getting started and things like using email, managing a Universal Credit account and creating a online account with us.

Digital equipment

If you’re struggling to access digital equipment, we may be able to support you to find free or low cost devices, including laptops, printers, tablets, Chromebooks, iPads and smartphones.

Free sim cards

If you’re new to using the internet, we have a limited number of free SIM cards for SNG customers. The SIM cards come with 20GB data, plus free calls and texts every month for six months. SIM cards can be used in a sim enabled tablet, laptop, phone, dongle or mobile hotspot device.

Low cost broadband and phone

We can tell you about social tariffs from a variety of providers that range from £10 to £20. If you’d like support with switching or checking if you’re on the best tariff, please get in touch with us.

How do I sign up for these services?

To access any of the services listed above, or to find out more, please get in touch with us by:

  • emailing fidi@sng.org.uk and including your full name and address in your email.
  • visiting our Digital Inclusion page
