BLOG: My work experience with the Legal Team at Network Homes

My name is Martina Georgieva and I’m 15 years old and a Year 10 student. Ever since I was little, the thought of studying law and pursuing it as a future career has always been a major interest to me. The idea of meeting professionals and being able to join them for a week sounded absolutely amazing.

Network Homes kindly agreed to let me join them on a work placement for a week and I have learnt so much and had experiences that I might never have got the chance to have at this age if I wasn’t offered the opportunity. The Legal Team is full of incredible and talented professionals who are very dedicated to achieving the best outcome on each working day. I’m so grateful for all the support I received and for being granted the opportunity to work with the team.

For me, working with Network Homes has been an unforgettable experience as I have always dreamt of one day going to court and working alongside actual lawyers. Network Homes offered me this experience and introduced me to the world of work which very much contrasts the academic life that I am used to living on a daily basis at school.

To conclude, I would like to say a very big thank you to Network Homes’ Legal Team for having me and for making me feel so welcome. I loved every part of this week and really appreciate all the support I received.
