Network Homes marks construction milestone for 31 affordable homes in Isleworth

26 November 2021

We're a step closer to completing 31 affordable homes in Isleworth, Hounslow as a key construction milestone was marked during a ‘topping out’ event on Thursday 25 November.

Guests from Network Homes, contractors LIFE Build Solutions, Rund Partnership, the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Hounslow Council gathered at the development site in St John’s Road to see the final construction beams installed.

The completed scheme will consist of one, two- and three bedroom apartments for London Living Rent, a GLA tenure which allows Londoners who qualify to save up to buy a home. London Living Rent provides rented homes on secure tenancies, with rents based on a third of local household incomes. Money saved on rent can then go towards a deposit buy shares in the property.

Apartments will come with spacious balconies and there will outdoor spaces to the front and rear of the development, as well as a roof terrace. The overall scheme will also include two commercial units which will provide new employment opportunities and is close to Isleworth rail station, with high street shops and cafes nearby.

We’re really pleased to have reached this important milestone in delivering this new development, which will provide a genuinely affordable way for local people to save to buy a home along with supporting new employment opportunities for Isleworth.
